Hwanhee (Bella) Schauerman is a Licensed and Board Certified Acupuncturist and Board Certified Herbalist. She was born in South Korea and grew her dreams of healing people in a natural and healthier way. Also she wanted to reduce the dependence on pharmaceuticals so as to reduce animal suffering. When she was 18 she decided to go to China which is the origin of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) to study.
She was accepted to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine which is the number 1 school known for Chinese Medicine in China. She completed a 5 year of TCM and Biomedicine combined program. Bella was awarded as a top three student at BUCM and she trained under several prestigious Chinese doctors for many years. She completed over 3000 hours of Clinical Training at Dongfang hospital, Beijing. During the extensive training Bella served patients across many clinical specialties, including dermatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology, oncology, pediatrics, orthopedics, gynecology and neurology. She also worked at a dermatology clinic, Dongzhimen hospital, Beijing for over 2 years and treated numerous patients with skin and facial issues. After graduating she went to Rishikesh, India for a spiritual journey. She trained yoga and Meditation then got certified as a Multi style Yoga Instructor to educate and help her future patients for their pain and discomfort. In 2017 she moved to the United States, got her Diplomats of Oriental Medicine by NCCAOM and has been serving PNW area since 2019.
She is specialized in women’s health, especially fertility treatments, facial rejuvenation acupuncture, collagen induction therapy (cosmetic medical micro-needling acupuncture treatment), pediatric care, sleep disorder treatments and overall pain management treatments. She is skillful in Acupuncture (including electroacupuncture), Tuina (therapeutic massage), Gua Sha and Cupping. Bella incorporates Traditional Chinese medicine treatments with western medical knowledge.
